Family Walking On Beach in PEI

Mark and Miriam Snider enjoy connecting families with premium lakefront and seaside properties almost as much as they enjoy time with their family by the water.  Mark is a professional land use planner who has been helping shape new communities over his 30-year career. He got his feet wet in land development early, working alongside his father in establishing a lakeside subdivision north of Kingston, Ontario in the 1980s.

As a Planning consultant, Mark has been involved in numerous exciting development projects as a designer and project manager. Mark designed and developed Kennebec Shores Waterfront Community in Frontenac County, and before that Mark designed and was part of the team that created Badour Farm Waterfront Community about one hour north of Kingston. Both of these projects have been recognized as eastern Ontario’s premier lakeside developments.

A key aspect of the success of Badour Farm and Kennebec Shores alike is the environmentally responsible way in which these communities were designed and developed. Mark is a lifelong resident of cottage country and recognizes the importance of the health of these lakes to environmental integrity and local economic stability.

Their next project, Algonquin Heights Lakeside Community, was initially developed by three prominent businessmen in Barry’s Bay, Ontario. In the summer of 2020, recognizing the incredible potential of the properties, Mark and Miriam purchased the remaining 15 lots. They undertook significant enhancements to the lots and community, and sold all the lots in less than a year.

They have now turned their attention to the beautiful seaside landscapes of Prince Edward Island, where Miriam was raised on a potato farm, and the family has a cottage near the warm southern shores of the Island.
